Khaberni - The former spokesman for the Israeli army Avichay Adraee mocked the Lebanese young man Mahmoud Ayash, who promotes their resemblance, saying that impersonating his character is just "begging for likes".
In a satirical video, Adraee addressed his Lebanese lookalike, saying, "These days, some people think that a little resemblance in appearance means they can impersonate the character, live the role, and gather likes, but they forget that there are brands and there is AliExpress."
Adraee added, "Listen, hero, focus on this: resemblance in features does not make a story out of you, stop making a big deal about yourself. There is a big difference between an original product that comes with a field, responsibility, and prestige that shakes the ground, and an AliExpress product that is just a plastic copy, it looks similar from outside, but inside… Only God knows."
This response comes days after videos of Adraee’s Lebanese lookalike, Mahmoud Ayash, who called himself "Afiday Akhraei," surfaced. In those videos, he appeared in military attire criticizing Adraee harshly, accusing him of "forgery". Earlier, Ayash had expressed his experiences of being bullied due to this resemblance, asserting that he is "completely opposite to Adraee".
It is noted that Adraee had announced last February the end of his duties as an Arabic spokesperson for the Israeli army; however, he still continues to publish content increasingly focused on Lebanese affairs.
