Khaberni - The US Central Command (CENTCOM) revealed the daily egg consumption of thousands of its troops aboard 3 aircraft carriers currently operating in the Middle East.
CENTCOM stated that the aircraft carriers "USS Abraham Lincoln," "USS Gerald R. Ford," and "USS George H.W. Bush" - operating in the Middle East - have their sailors and marines consume over 12,000 eggs daily.
CENTCOM published a photo of sailors aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln serving meals to the troops, noting that - for the first time in decades - 3 aircraft carriers are operating in the Middle East simultaneously.
The three aircraft carriers house more than 200 aircraft and 15,000 sailors and marines, while Washington continues its blockade on ships entering or leaving Iranian ports.
CENTCOM - in its latest statements - announced that its forces have so far diverted the course of 34 ships since the blockade began on April 13. In response, Iran continues to close the Strait of Hormuz and has detained several ships flying foreign flags.
Washington has intensified its military presence in the Middle East coinciding with the stalling of resumption of negotiations with Tehran, and threats by President Donald Trump to return to a confrontation that had ceased on April 8, after a 40-day war between the two parties.
Last week, the American newspaper "USA Today" published a series of photos sent by members of the American military stationed aboard "USS Tripoli" and "USS Abraham Lincoln" to their families, showing plates with little food.
The US Navy then quickly denied these reports, describing the news claiming a shortage of food and poor quality on board US-deployed ships as inaccurate.
