After smashing his exwifes head Death sentence by hanging in the Red Mountain case in Tunisia

Khaberni - The Tunisian judiciary ruled on Tuesday a death sentence by hanging for the perpetrator of the heinous crime that caused controversy in Tunisia and is known in the media as "Red Mountain crime".

The criminal division of the Court of First Instance in Tunisia issued a death sentence to the perpetrator of a family massacre in the Red Mountain area of the capital, Tunisia, where he killed his ex-wife, her mother, and her uncle with a hammer.

The case dates back to last year, when the accused committed his crime following family disputes with the victims. The case then caused great shock in the Tunisian streets.

According to the details of the case, the accused snuck into his ex-wife "Sabrine"'s house, who was 30 years old, armed with a hammer, and smashed her head and the heads of her mother and uncle with a hammer while they were asleep following disputes that had arisen between them.

He ambushed the victims while they were sleeping, and inflicted fatal blows to their heads, leading to their immediate death.

The perpetrator carried out the crime after the final divorce decree was issued.

According to previous statements from the victims' family, the victim (Sabrine) had reported death threats to the security units, but no deterrent measures were taken at the time due to the absence of "obvious physical violence".
