Khaberni - A security source reported a collision this morning between a passenger bus and a cargo vehicle (trailer) on the desert road, resulting in two deaths and seven injuries, one of which was described as severe.
The source added that civil defense and ambulance teams responded immediately to the accident site, where the deceased were evacuated and the injured were transported to the nearest hospitals for necessary treatment, while the authorities began investigating the circumstances of the accident.
He also mentioned that the accident site experienced slow traffic as a result of the incident, before the relevant authorities managed to reopen the road and regulate the traffic flow.
