Khaberni - The Jordan Customs Department has renewed its warnings to its service recipients and all citizens, affirming that it has not sent any text or electronic messages related to shipments or personal postal parcels.
The department clarified that the messages or links circulated on social media or messaging applications are fraudulent attempts aimed at stealing personal data, urging caution and advising against interacting with these suspicious links.
The customs stressed the importance of verifying the authenticity and source of any link or message before dealing with it, especially in the light of the proliferation of fake accounts and impersonators claiming to be connected to the department to deceive citizens about their credibility.
The Jordan Customs Department urges everyone not to access these links or provide any untrusted entities with personal information, confirming that all its electronic services are available only through its official website and do not require entering sensitive data through external links, thus avoiding falling victim to fraud or cyber theft.
