Khaberni - Nadia Mustafa, the media spokesperson for the Egyptian Artists Syndicate and a member of its board, clarified the truth about Hani Shaker's transfer to a hospital in France for treatment, confirming that the Egyptian artist was transferred for comprehensive medical rehabilitation, and not for continuation of treatment.
She stated in a statement published on her "Facebook" account that Shaker began his recovery phase while still in the hospital in Egypt, but due to the lengthy stay in the ICU (about 20 days) there was a general weakening in the body's muscles, which necessitated his transfer to a rehabilitation hospital in France.
Mustafa denied rumors about the Egyptian artist’s heart stopping for 8 minutes before it started beating again, clarifying that Hani Shaker had suffered severe bleeding due to an old problem in the colon before entering the hospital, and due to the presence of pouches in the colon he experienced severe bleeding, which did not stop despite transferring large amounts of blood.
She added that on the next day after his admission to the hospital, his heart stopped for 6 minutes, and he was quickly resuscitated over three cycles, each lasting two minutes.
Further details on the improvement of the Egyptian artist's health condition are still unclear, as his account on "Instagram" posted, asking his audience to pray for him, which caused concern among his fans.
