Sheikh Tamim Welcomes Prince Hussein

Khaberni - The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, today welcomed the Crown Prince, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, at the Qatari Emiri Diwan.

At the beginning of the meeting, Sheikh Tamim welcomed the Crown Prince, emphasizing the depth of the brotherly relations that bring the two brotherly countries together.

In turn, the Crown Prince conveyed to the Prince the greetings of King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and his wishes for His Highness's continued good health and happiness, and for the Qatari people's continued progress and prosperity.

The Crown Prince also stressed the importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts to achieve a comprehensive and sustainable calm that restores stability to the region.

He also expressed Jordan's full support and solidarity with the State of Qatar and the countries of the region in matters related to protecting their security and sovereignty, reiterating Jordan's condemnation of the attacks targeting the State of Qatar.

In turn, the Emir of Qatar conveyed his greetings to the King, wishing His Majesty continued health and well-being, and more progress and prosperity for the Jordanian people.

He emphasized the State of Qatar's appreciation of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's positions and solidarity, emphasizing the importance of continuing coordination and consultation regarding regional developments, which contributes to de-escalation and consolidating the foundations of security and stability in the region.

During the meeting, they reviewed the brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries, ways to support and develop them, in addition to exchanging views on the most prominent regional and international developments.
