Khaberni- British media confirmed that fans of the England national team are preparing to benefit from an unprecedented feature during their participation in the 2026 World Cup, after local authorities in Arlington, Texas announced the provision of free transportation for ticket holders to the stadium for the opening match against the Croatian team.
The Sun newspaper stated that the highly anticipated match will take place on the pitch of AT&T Stadium, one of the largest stadiums in the United States, where fans will be able to use dedicated buses and free public transport from several main stations in Dallas and Fort Worth, in a step aimed at facilitating the movement of fans and reducing congestion around the stadium on the day England faces Croatia.
It explained: "According to organizational details, fans will be transported via regional trains to specific stations, before completing the journey by free buses directly to the vicinity of the stadium, with additional services provided in case of full transport vehicles or congestion, in addition to the possibility of free return after the end of the match."
It continued: "This decision comes at a time when there is increasing debate about the prices of World Cup 2026 match tickets, as millions of tickets have already been sold at various prices, some reaching high levels that have sparked widespread criticism from fans, especially with the large discrepancies between different price categories."
It added: "Despite these criticisms, event organizers believe that providing free transportation represents a positive step to alleviate the logistical burdens on fans and ensure a smoother attendance experience during the tournament, which is jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico."
