Irans drone inventory reaches 40 of prewar levels

Khaberni - The "New York Times" reported, citing US intelligence and military officials, that Iran still retains about 40% of its drone arsenal despite the strikes it has suffered.

The newspaper added: "Iran is still capable of accessing about 70% of its missile stockpile that it had before the war, and 60% of its missile launch platforms."

The newspaper explained that "when the two-week ceasefire came into effect between Iran and the United States on April 8, Tehran was able to access about half of its ballistic missile launch platforms. Since then, it has been able to extract 100 more launch platforms from underground, bringing the total operational rocket launch platforms to about 60% of the pre-war total."

In addition to the launch platforms, the newspaper referred to that "Iran is also working on excavating any missile stocks buried underneath the rubble of American and Israeli strikes."

US intelligence officials believe that "once this is completed, Tehran will possess missile stocks estimated at about 70% of its pre-war inventory."

Iran focuses on swarms of "Shahed" drones, which are suicide drones launched in massive quantities to exhaust the air defense systems of the United States and its allies, and are harder to detect than conventional ballistic missiles.
