Click transfers valued at 571 billion dinars in the first quarter of this year

Khaberni - The "Click" instant payment system recorded transactions valued at approximately 5.71 billion dinars during the first quarter of 2026, compared to about 5.46 billion dinars in the fourth quarter of 2025, an increase of 4.6%.

According to a report by the Jordanian Payment and Clearing Systems Company (JoPACC), 53.29 million transactions were executed through the system during the first quarter, compared to 50.61 million transactions in the previous quarter, representing an increase of 5.3%.

The number of "Click" users increased to 2.22 million users at the end of the first quarter, compared to 2.13 million users in the fourth quarter of 2025, achieving a growth of 4.6%.

The vast majority of users are Jordanian nationals, accounting for about 96.0% of the total users (about 2.13 million users), while the number of users from other nationalities is about 85.6 thousand users or 4%.

The report shows that men represent 60.9% of the system users compared to 36.2% of women, and the age group between 18 and 40 years leads the user base; the number of users aged 18–30 years is about 541.9 thousand users, followed by the age group 31–40 years with about 775.5 thousand users. JoPACC indicates that individuals constitute 97.7% of the service users, while institutions hold only 3.9%.

According to the report, money transfer operations constituted the majority of "Click" activities; their value reached about 2.84 billion dinars, which represents 78.3% of the total transaction value, while the value of purchase transactions was about 790 million dinars or 21.7% of the total.

Users executed 43.2 million transfer transactions (representing 81.3% of the transactions) versus 10.11 million purchase transactions (representing 18.9%). The report clarifies that about 72.9% of the transactions were carried out between accounts within the same bank (On Us), while 27.1% of the transactions occurred between accounts in different banks (Off Us).

The average transaction value through "Click" in the first quarter was about 107 dinars; this was calculated by dividing the total recorded value by the number of executed transactions.

"Click" is the latest instant payment system in the kingdom; launched by "JoPACC" in mid-2020, allowing instant money transfers between bank accounts and electronic wallets. The system operates around the clock and offers services like instant transfer, payment request, payment refund, and QR code payments at point-of-sale locations. The service is managed by "JoPACC" in cooperation with the Central Bank of Jordan and involves all operating banks in the kingdom.
