Khaberni - The “Our Jordan is a Paradise” program has had a noticeable turnout since its start, with the number of participants reaching about 15,000 during the past two weeks, distributed across 429 trips and buses, with the participation of 429 tourist guides, and 71 tourism and travel offices, alongside 35 restaurants, and 42 hotels and tourist camps.

The director of the program and the media spokesperson for the ministry, Dr. Ahmed Al-Refai, said that the overnight programs in the city of Petra saw the participation of about 2714 participants during the past two weeks, in addition to 154 participants who made direct bookings via their private vehicles, reflecting the diversity of participation and the demand for tourist destinations.

The northern provinces and the Golden Triangle area (Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba) saw increasing demand from participants, and the newly introduced destinations such as Iraq Al-Amir and Umm Ar-Rasas also witnessed noticeable turnout, while other visitors were distributed among several tourist destinations throughout the various provinces of the kingdom, particularly Madaba and Jerash, clearly indicating the diversity of the Jordanian tourism product and its ability to attract different segments.

The “Our Jordan is a Paradise” program, supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, is part of the government's efforts to stimulate the tourism sector and enhance domestic tourism, contributing to supporting local communities and stimulating economic activity in various areas.

The program represents an inclusive approach to revitalize the tourism sector, involving various components including tourism and travel offices, the tourist transportation sector, restaurants, hotels, camps, tourist guides, and oriental antique shops, along with diverse tourist experiences, which positively reflects on widening the economic impact and enhancing local development throughout the kingdom.
