The New Canva Platform Artificial Intelligence and an Agent for Complex Task Execution

Khaberni  - Canva (Canva), an Australian company, announced the launch of what it described as the biggest update in its history under the name "Canva AI 2.0" (Canva AI 2.0), which represents a radical transformation of the platform from being just a design tool to a comprehensive "creative operating system" fully powered by generative artificial intelligence.

According to the official statement issued by the company, the new update goes beyond just adding image generation tools. The most notable feature is "contextual intelligence", where the CEO Melanie Perkins stated that the platform now possesses a "living memory" that understands the user's brand identity and applies it automatically to all projects, reducing manual editing time by up to 40%.

Key Technical Features in Version 2.0

– "Magic Studio" (Magic Studio 2.0): Reports from The Verge, an American tech site, indicate that Canva has integrated more complex linguistic and visual models, allowing the transformation of textual ideas into complete presentations that include live data and interactive charts.

– Dream Lab: the new image generation engine based on the Leonardo.ai architecture - previously acquired by Canva - which gives designers the ability to produce hyper-realistic images, surpassing the platform's previous standards.

– Creative Agents: version 2.0 introduced "artificial intelligence agents" that can carry out complex tasks such as "rephrasing a complete advertising campaign to fit, for example, TikTok instead of Instagram" at the press of a button.

Integration with Professional Systems

Preliminary reviews from ZDNet, an American tech site, indicate that Canva has enhanced its integration with major productivity tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, in addition to incorporating Affinity's professional technologies within the simple Canva interface, bridging the gap between amateur and professional designers.

In a related context, Canva confirmed through its official site its commitment to the "Canva Shield" initiative, a technology that ensures that all AI-generated content in version 2.0 is legally protected and free from copyright violations, with compensation offered to companies using these tools in their major campaigns.

According to reports, the Canva AI 2.0 update is currently available to subscribers of "Canva Pro" (Canva Pro) and "Canva for Teams" (Canva for Teams), with a phased plan to make the main features available to free users during the current quarter of the year.
