Turkey 4 cosmetic surgeries transform a criminal into another person and the police reveal him

Khaberni - A murder suspect, who was escaping punishment and fled outside Turkey, underwent a series of cosmetic surgeries that significantly changed his appearance to the extent that he looked like another person with a new ID card, but he was caught by the police during the first test.

Barish Merza is accused of involvement in a homicide that occurred in the capital Ankara in 2010, which resulted in a young man's death inside a car after being hit by a hail of 28 bullets.

However, Barish remained on the run from the police for years, during which time he underwent cosmetic surgeries that included changing the shape of his lips, nose, and chin, and he also had hair transplanted on his head to resemble his brother and carried his ID card.

Photos of Merza before and after changing his appearance showcased the significant difference between the two pictures, and he indeed appeared as a completely different person thanks to the cosmetic surgeries he underwent during his years of hiding.

But Merza, who returned to Turkey in his new appearance from neighboring Georgia where he had been residing, was surprised when the police stopped him and recognized him.

A video clip showed Merza in his new appearance, handcuffed during his transfer to the trial after his failed attempt to hide by transforming into another person.

Local reports stated that Merza was arrested thanks to the efforts of the wanted division of the counter-terrorism unit in the Ankara Police Directorate.

It was added that initial investigations revealed that Merza had returned to Turkey to settle in his hometown, hiding behind his new appearance.
