He also stated: "Had I not intervened, Iran would have a nuclear weapon now", adding "we have militarily destroyed Iran".
He continued: "We can destroy all Iranian power stations within one hour".
Moreover, Trump said he asked his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in a message not to supply weapons to Iran, and Xi replied saying he "basically, does not do that".
The American president confirmed that the Strait of Hormuz is being opened.
The American president mentioned yesterday that a new round of negotiations with Iran will take place in the next two days.
However, American and Iranian officials later reported that no date had yet been set for the second round of talks.
Meanwhile, American sources speculated that Vice President JD Vance would lead the American delegation in the upcoming new round, with the participation of Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who also led the first round.
It is worth noting that the first round of direct talks between the American and Iranian sides, held in Islamabad last Saturday, did not lead to a consensus on several issues, including uranium enrichment and support for proxies, as well as the Iranian missile program.
