Khaberni - The relevant investigative authorities in Egypt have launched an extensive investigation with the famous content creator known as "Big Yasmin".
This came against the backdrop of her accusation of publishing video clips that violate public decency and contradict societal values, where the security forces located the accused in the Pyramids area of Giza Governorate, following the monitoring of her videos on the "TikTok" platform, considered by those filing official complaints as a deviation from public morals and religious values, with all necessary legal procedures being taken against her.
This security and judicial move was based on an official complaint filed by a lawyer, who confirmed that the content creator deliberately publishes videos containing behaviors that conflict with Egyptian customs and traditions, particularly by appearing in a style that involves "imitating men" in a performative manner, warning of the negative impact of these clips on youth and adolescents.
The complaint was based on the fact that these acts could constitute a crime according to the provisions of Information Technology Crimes Law No. 175 of 2018, in addition to the provisions of the Penal Code related to incitement to debauchery and immorality.
It is expected that the investigative authorities will confront the defendant with the video clips attributed to her to ascertain the details of the incident, in preparation for taking the appropriate legal decision in light of Egyptian laws that stipulate penalties reaching imprisonment and fines for anyone who publishes content that incites debauchery or violates decency, especially through modern technological means.
