Khaberni - As part of the efforts of Amman Arab University to support and enhance the culture of entrepreneurship and the development of entrepreneurial skills in alignment with the requirements of sustainable development, the following participated: Dr. Samer Ayasra, Director of the Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Business Leadership Center, and Dr. Sajida Al-Maabreh, a faculty member at the Business School, in the program “Impact by Design: Path to Sustainable Business – Training of Trainers (ToT)”, which was organized by Arcan Impact within the Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment (E4DE) project implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, aiming to build participants' capacities and equip them with modern tools and methodologies in designing sustainable entrepreneurial projects, contributing to the support of the innovation system and enhancing economic development opportunities.
The participation of Dr. Ayasra and Dr. Al-Maabreh in this program came after they successfully passed the evaluation stages, in recognition of their professional competencies and accumulated experiences, and their prominent role in supporting and developing practices of impact and sustainability in work environments and the academic community, where the program aims to prepare a group of qualified trainers capable of transferring knowledge and enhancing concepts of sustainable business, through a series of intensive training workshops that spanned over five days, and were held in several locations including: Orange Digital Village, Jordan Kuwait Bank, the German Jordanian University, and Sands Academy, and these workshops addressed advanced axes in impact design, sustainable business model development, and trainer capacity building according to the latest training methodologies.
This participation reflects an active commitment to supporting the impact system and enhancing cooperation between the academic and entrepreneurial sectors, which contributes to empowering local communities and building the capacities of human resources in the fields of sustainability and entrepreneurship. It is expected that this program will have a positive effect by transferring the experiences and knowledge gained to institutions and local communities, enhancing the spread of a culture of positive impact and sustainable development on a wider scale.
