Arab Amman University Organizes a Training Course Titled Statistical Analysis Using SPSS

Khaberni  - Stemming from Arab Amman University’s commitment to developing the students’ skills and enhancing their research capabilities, under the guidance of Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Widian, the president of the university, and with support from Dr. Wafaa Al-Eid, Dean of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, the college organized a training workshop titled "Statistical Analysis Using SPSS", presented by both: Dr. Mohammad Al-Karamneh, and Dr. Ferial Al-Haj Mahmoud, faculty members in the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, attended by a number of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The workshop aimed to develop participants' skills in using the SPSS program, covering the basics of handling the program, mechanisms for data entry and coding in a precise scientific manner, in addition to how to perform various statistical analyses. The workshop was divided between theoretical and practical aspects. Dr. Al-Karamneh presented the practical side through direct applications on the program and mechanisms to perform statistical analyses, while Dr. Ferial covered the theoretical side, explaining the basic statistical concepts and methods of interpreting results in a scientifically precise way.

This workshop is part of the vision of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Arab Amman University aimed at improving the capabilities of students and researchers through enabling them to use modern statistical tools efficiently and professionally, which positively reflects on the quality of research output. The workshop particularly focused on enhancing skills in interpreting statistical outputs and analyzing them accurately, supporting the preparation of scientific studies based on sound methodological foundations. This workshop is part of a series of training activities and programs conducted by the college to develop students' and researchers' skills and improve the quality of scientific research outputs, keeping pace with the requirements of academic development and the labor market.
