270 Billion The Cost of Bombing Iran

Khaberni - The official spokesperson for the Iranian government, Fatima Mahajerani, announced that Tehran estimates the damages resulting from the American-Israeli bombing during the war to be about $270 billion.

Mahajerani told the "Ria Novosti" agency, "Preliminary and not final figures indicate damages of up to now $270 billion."

According to the spokesperson, the economic department of the government will determine more accurate figures through a multi-stage process: first, assessing the direct damage to buildings, and second, analyzing the losses in budget revenues and the consequences of the shutdown of industrial facilities.

Mahajerani added that the issue of war compensations for Iran by the United States is one of the topics being worked on by the Iranian negotiation team, and this issue was particularly discussed in the recent negotiations in Islamabad. Mahajerani said, "We will certainly demand, through legal means, the rights of our people, and this includes compensations for the blood of our loved ones in the Minab school."

It is noted that after the negotiations between Iran and the United States that took place last weekend in Pakistan, Tehran announced that the two delegations did not agree on several key issues.

According to "Reuters", the two sides discussed issues concerning the Strait of Hormuz, nuclear topics, compensations, sanctions, and ending the conflict. It was previously said that the Islamic Republic's ten-point plan might form the basis for a future treaty.
