Tears of the Audience Tell the Tale of Land of Dignity

Khaberni -  In a striking humanitarian scene, the showroom was transformed into a space submerged in sincere emotions, where the audience could not hold back their tears during the performance of the play "Land of Dignity", coming from the Qweismeh brigade, specifically from Um Qusair and Al-Muqabaleen Elementary School for Girls.

The most impactful paradox was not only in the story of the work, but in those who presented it; the heroines of the play were a group of young girls, aged between 10 and 14 years old, yet their performance was profound and loaded with a sense that exceeded their ages, as if they were truly living through the event's details.

The girls succeeded in conveying a true image of the emotions of Jordanians during those historic moments, embodying pain, pride, and coherence, which made the audience interact spontaneously, allowing tears to flow without hesitation, in a clear indication of the strength of the message that reached their hearts.

This moving work came from the creativity of teacher Rawan Al-Waleedat, who took on writing the script and dialogue, besides directing the work in a distinct professional style, where she managed to utilize the girls’ energies and transform them into a lively, emotional performance.

"Land of Dignity" was not just a brief theatrical show, but a complete emotional experience, affirming that sincere art, even when presented by small voices, has the power to make one weep and resonate.
