406 million dinars in Amman Chamber of Commerce exports in the first quarter of the current year

Khaberni - The value of certificates of origin issued by the Amman Chamber of Commerce for exporting goods and commodities to Arab and foreign countries in the first quarter of the current year increased by 30.9 percent, compared with the same period last year.
According to statistical data from the chamber, exports of the Amman Chamber of Commerce through the certificates of origin issued in the first quarter of the current year reached 406 million dinars, compared to 310 million dinars for the same period of 2025.
The number of certificates of origin issued by Amman Commerce during the first quarter of the current year was 6830 certificates, compared to 7263 certificates for the same period last year.
According to statistical data, the certificates of origin issued by the chamber during the first quarter of this year went to several countries, most notably: Syria with 1286 certificates then the United Arab Emirates with 1030, Iraq 600, Egypt 191, and Switzerland with 19 certificates.
The exports during the first quarter of this year were distributed as follows: Iraq with a value of 156 million dinars, Switzerland 92 million dinars, Egypt about 23 million dinars, Syria 21 million, and the United Arab Emirates with a value of about 21 million dinars.
Exports in the first quarter of this year included foreign products (goods of foreign origin) with a value of about 158 million dinars, industrial products 53 million dinars, Arab goods (goods of Arab origin) about 53 million dinars, agricultural about 32 million and others.
It should be noted that the certificate of origin is a document used in international trade to authenticate that the goods in a certain shipment were produced, manufactured, or processed in a particular country and is used by customs to determine the eligibility of goods to identify its tariff and verify the country of origin of those goods.
The Amman Chamber of Commerce issues certificates of origin for agricultural and animal products, raw Jordanian natural resources, and for foreign goods that are re-exported as well as foreign goods purchased from the local market under specific conditions.
Certificates of origin are also issued for Jordanian industrial products based on the exporter's request, based on the original factory invoice certified by an industrial chamber and an original and duly certified certificate of origin issued by an industrial chamber, proving that the goods are of Jordanian origin, in accordance with the provisions of Article (29) of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce System No. (45) of 2009 and the instructions for issuing certificates of origin for 2013.
