Khaberni - The Egyptian judiciary decided to continue the detention of the son of former Egyptian national team star, Ahmed Hossam Mido, "Hussein", for 15 days pending investigations, following the confirmation of positive drug analysis samples.
Earlier, the investigative authorities decided to reject the appeal submitted by the son of Ahmed Hossam Mido on the basis of his accusation of possessing narcotics.
Cairo 24 website said: "Investigations revealed that the accused, named 'Hussein', is 17 years old, a high school third grade student, and does not carry a personal identification card, and is the son of former player Ahmed Hossam Mido".
It added: "The medical examination results of the drug sample taken from Mido's son showed that the sample was positive, and the analysis result confirmed his drug use, after sending the sample to the specialized forensic medicine laboratory for examination."
