Martial Arts Match at the White House on Trumps Birthday

U.S. President Donald Trump will celebrate his 80th birthday, which falls on June 14, in a different way by organizing a match as part of the Ultimate Fighting Championship "UFC" at the White House grounds.

Trump announced the news in a post on his own platform "Truth Social", and he is known for his love of this sport. The initial plans aimed to hold the match on July 4, coinciding with the 250th anniversary of American Independence.

The June 14 match, which also coincides with American Flag Day, will feature a lightweight championship bout between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje, as well as a meeting between Alex Pereira and Cyril Gane for the interim heavyweight title.

Trump attended a match on Saturday in Miami with family members and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, while Vice President JD Vance announced from Pakistan that no agreement had been reached between the United States and Iran.

Speaking earlier to a crowd of sailors at the naval base in Norfolk, Virginia, Trump said: "We will organize a big match at the White House on June 14 - yes, on the White House grounds," and Trump did not mention that he would be celebrating his birthday on that day or that he would be turning eighty.

The "UFC" championship is the largest professional mixed martial arts league combining boxing, kickboxing, and wrestling within a steel cage, characterized by real, not exhibition, matches.
