Qalibaf Washington did not gain the trust of the Iranian delegation during negotiations

Khaberni - Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf confirmed that his country's delegation presented "future-looking" initiatives during the negotiations that took place in Islamabad, but the United States did not gain the trust of the Iranian delegation.

According to Fars Agency, Qalibaf said: "In response to our initiatives, America could not gain the trust of Iran; before the negotiations, we declared that we possessed goodwill and the necessary will, but due to the experiences with the previous two wars, we do not trust the opposing party."

He added: "My colleagues in the Iranian delegation 'Minab 168' presented progressive initiatives, but ultimately in this round of negotiations, the opposing party did not manage to gain the trust of the Iranian delegation. America understood our logic and principles, and now it's time for it to decide whether it can earn our trust or not?"

Qalibaf continued: "We consider the diplomacy of strength another method alongside military struggle to reclaim the rights of the Iranian people, and we will not hesitate for a moment in pursuing to establish the achievements of the forty days of Iranian national defense. I am grateful for the friendly efforts of brotherly Pakistan in facilitating the process of these negotiations and send my greetings to the Pakistani people."

Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, said: "Iran is one body with 90 million souls. I am grateful to all the heroic Iranian people who supported their sons on the streets at the recommendation of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and offered us their genuine prayers, and I say 'Khoda Hafez' (God protect you) to my colleagues in these intense negotiations that lasted 21 hours. Long live dear Iran and may it prosper!"
