Khaberni - The official spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, announced today, Sunday, Russia's serious concern over the ongoing suspension of negotiations for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, due to developments in the Middle East situation, pointing out that this will lead to the reproduction of cycles of violence and confrontation.
Zakharova stated during a press conference: "Russia is convinced that the Palestinian issue, as well as the broader set of issues for settlement in the Middle East, cannot be viewed based on what remains of the rest or become hostage to the current military and political circumstances, Russia expresses its deep concern because the efforts aimed at improving the situation in the Palestinian territories have actually come to a halt."
