Khaberni - Petra Archaeological Reserve recorded a noticeable activity in tourist movement during the weekend, with the number of visitors on Friday and Saturday reaching 2264 from various nationalities.
According to statistics issued by the Petra Regional Authority for Development and Tourism, the reserve welcomed 1327 visitors on Friday, distributed as 176 foreigners, 601 as part of the "Our Jordan is a Paradise" program, 25 Arab visitors, 396 Jordanians, and 128 residents.
The number of visitors on Saturday was 937, including 429 foreigners, 265 as part of the "Our Jordan is a Paradise" program, 25 Arabs, 172 Jordanians, and 45 residents.
These figures show notable activity during the weekend, driven by an increased interest in the "Our Jordan is a Paradise" program, along with rising numbers of foreign visitors, reflecting the ongoing appeal of Petra as a major tourist destination.
