Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned the attack by Israeli occupation police on Saturday on Christians in the city of Jerusalem during the celebratory "Saturday of Light" procession.
The official spokesman for the ministry, Ambassador Fuad Al-Majali, affirmed the kingdom's condemnation and its absolute rejection of the unlawful Israeli procedures restricting Christians, and the necessity of stopping all procedures that hinder Muslims and Christians from practicing their religious rituals in their places of worship, and respecting the historical and legal status in Jerusalem and its holy sites, emphasizing that Israel has no sovereignty over Jerusalem.
Al-Majali called on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, and to compel Israel to stop its violations of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, respect its historical and legal status, and meet the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with sovereignty over their national territory based on a two-state solution.
