AlKhashman Reopening the doors of AlAqsa Mosque is a victory for Jordanian diplomacy and a manifestation of Kings efforts

Khaberni  - Deputy Captain Zuhair Muhammad Al-Khashman, head of the Union and Reform Parliamentary Bloc, confirmed that the reopening of the doors of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque to worshippers constitutes a new political and diplomatic victory for Jordan, and a clear embodiment of the ongoing efforts led by His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein in defending Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian holy sites.

Al-Khashman said that this development reflects the pivotal status that Jordan, under its Hashemite leadership, plays in protecting Al-Aqsa Mosque, preserving its Arab and Islamic identity, and confronting all attempts to impose a new reality that aims to change the existing historical and legal status in the holy city.

He added that His Majesty King Abdullah II continues, with steadfastness, wisdom, and ability, to lead an effective political and diplomatic movement for Jerusalem, stemming from the historical Hashemite custodianship of the holy sites, which has always been and remains the first line of defense against repeated violations and assaults on Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Al-Khashman emphasized that Jordan has never been distant from Jerusalem, but has been present at every stage defending its holy sites, confirming that the Jordanian position led by His Majesty the King has remained firm and solid in protecting Palestinian rights, defending the Arab identity of Jerusalem, and supporting the resilience of the Palestinian brothers against all challenges.

He pointed out that the Union and Reform Parliamentary Bloc looks with pride at this significant national effort, which proves time and again that Jordan will stay the most challenging number in the equation of defending Jerusalem, and that the Hashemite custodianship will continue to be a symbol of protection, care, and adherence to the historical, religious, and legal rights in the holy sites.

Al-Khashman called for a stronger and more cohesive Arab and Islamic stance to support Jordanian efforts, bolster the resilience of the Jerusalemites, and enhance the political, media, and legal presence in facing all attempts at Judaization and targeted attacks on the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

Al-Khashman concluded his statement by affirming that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, will remain the strongest supporter of Jerusalem, the faithful guardian of its holy sites, and the sincere defender of its Arab and Islamic identity, no matter how the challenges escalate or pressures intensify.
