Khaberni - Deputy Taysir Abu Arabi Al-Adwan expressed his anger about the use of the folk proverb "Action to Al-Jahran and reputation to Al-Adwan", demanding an apology.
Abu Arabi said at the beginning of today's Wednesday parliamentary session that the Al-Adwan tribe and Al-Jahran clan are prestigious and respected tribes, and it is inappropriate to use this proverb by one of the colleagues inside the parliament.
He confirmed that the names of the tribes cannot be used as the subject of proverbs or mockeries, whether intentionally or unintentionally.
He stated that it is necessary for the colleague to apologize for what he said.
In turn, Deputy Al-Badadaw said that the video broadcast on social media yesterday was in a sideline political discussion outside the parliament dome.
Al-Badadaw expressed dismay that a video clip of him in a sideline conversation with fellow deputies was broadcast, wondering about the purpose of publishing such clips.
He added, quoting another proverb "Be the camel who kneels to take the load on."
Al-Badadaw emphasized that he cares about Al-Adwan more than they care about each other, as he has familial relations with them.
