Khaberni - Today, Sunday, April 5, 2026, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research will nominate (4500) four thousand and five hundred new students to obtain loans from the University Student Support Fund in place of the students who abstained, as the official period for completing the necessary procedures and documents ended last Tuesday. Minister Muqabalah added that the Ministry will distribute these loans to the districts not covered by grants and loans. It is expected that the Ministry will announce the names of these students this week, and text messages will be sent to their mobile numbers stored in their applications.
It should be noted that including this additional number with the loans will increase the total number of students nominated to receive internal scholarships and loans for the current academic year 2025-2026 from (60341) to (64841), and the percentage of students who received internal scholarships and loans will rise from (78)% to (84)% of the total number of students who applied and met the eligibility criteria.
