Do not approach to take a picture you may not return to tell
الكاتب: باسم عارف الشوره

Khaberni - In an era when events are measured by the number of views rather than the magnitude of the danger, some situations have turned into show arenas, where the phone takes precedence over reason, and the camera precedes the call for salvation. As soon as an unfamiliar object or incident appears, some rush towards it out of curiosity, as if it were just another scene, unaware that danger does not discriminate between those there to watch and those there to escape. Here the most dangerous illusions are born; the illusion that the screen protects, and that the lens distances, while the truth is that the danger is closer than it appears and faster than anticipated.

Foreign objects are not just silent debris, but they may carry within them what cannot be seen, smelled, or delayed. They may be saturated with radioactive materials that silently infiltrate the body, or unstable, collapsing or exploding with the first vibration caused by the crowd around them. And with each step that curiosity approaches, safety recedes, and the moment becomes a gamble with regrettable consequences.
And the danger is not only to individuals; it extends to become a burden on security forces and civil defense, whose time is exhausted in moving the crowd away instead of containing the danger. Every second wasted between cries of "stay away" and curiosity of "let me see" may be crucial between control and chaos, between safety and catastrophe.
True awareness is not measured by the number of clips we capture, but by our ability to make the right decision when the situation tests us. When you see something suspicious, do not approach, do not risk it, do not let your curiosity lead you into the unknown. Stay away, protect yourself and those with you, and inform the experts, for life is not replayed, danger does not grant a second chance, and between a fleeting shot and a full life... choose to remain.
