Trump Calls for Countries Dependent on the Strait of Hormuz to Take Charge

Khaberni - US President Donald Trump has asked the countries dependent on the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran has closed since the beginning of the war on February 28 and which usually carries a fifth of the world's oil production, to "take charge."

Trump said that the United States is "close to achieving" its goals in the war against Iran but will continue to hit the country "hard" for another two to three weeks.

The US President in a speech from the White House praised the "decisive" and "overwhelming" victories achieved by the United States, reaffirming once again that the strikes were necessary to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

He pledged not to abandon the Gulf states targeted by Iran in response to the US-Israeli strikes on Iran.

At the same time, Trump insisted that the end of the war had not yet come and said, "We will hit them very hard over the next two or three weeks. We will return them to the Stone Age they belong in."

He added, "If an agreement is not reached, we will strike each of their power stations hard, and perhaps simultaneously."

Trump once again threatened to target Iranian energy infrastructure, stating that if an agreement is not reached, the United States "will strike each of their power stations hard, and perhaps simultaneously."

The Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a public message addressed to the American people before Trump's speech, considered the American-Israeli attacks on vital infrastructure as "a war crime."

Moreover, Trump asked the countries dependent on the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran has closed since the beginning of the war on February 28 and which usually carries a fifth of the world's oil production, to "take charge."
