Khaberni - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Keane said on Tuesday that the US military has begun deploying B-52 bombers over Iranian territory for the first time since the war began.
Keane added: "The American warplanes were focused on destroying the supply chains that feed missile-building facilities, unmanned aircraft, and Iranian ships, thereby choking Tehran's ability to replace ammunition destroyed in thousands of American airstrikes," according to the "New York Times".
The B-52 bombers, unlike nimble or stealth-capable aircraft in the US arsenal, are significantly vulnerable to air defense systems.
