Trump to Deliver Important Speech on Wednesday Regarding Iran

Khaberni - The White House announced that President Donald Trump will deliver a national address on Wednesday to present what he described as "an important update on Iran".

The U.S. presidential office clarified that the speech concerning Iran will be at 9 PM Eastern Time (Thursday at 1 AM GMT).

This came after press statements by the American president where he said that the military operation against Iran could end within two or three weeks, even without the need to reach an agreement with Tehran.

Trump considered that the military operation has led to regime change in Iran following the assassinations that resulted in the appointment of new officials, as well as preventing Tehran from possessing nuclear weapons, according to him.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll showed that two-thirds of Americans believe that the United States should swiftly end its involvement in the war with Iran, even if it means not achieving the goals set by the Trump administration.

Yesterday, Tuesday, China and Pakistan announced a five-point initiative to restore peace and stability in the Middle East, which included an immediate cessation of hostilities and the start of peace talks as soon as possible, as well as calls to ensure the security of civilian targets and navigation passages, and efforts to implement true multilateralism.
