Khaberni - The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Huneiti, met on Tuesday with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense in the Republic of Poland Władysław Kociński-Kamiś, and his accompanying delegation.
The two sides discussed during the meeting the aspects of military and defense cooperation between the two friendly countries, and ways to develop and enhance them in various fields, in a manner that serves the common interests and enhances regional and international security and stability.
They also reviewed a number of issues of common interest, especially in the areas of training, exchange of expertise, counter-terrorism, and building defense capabilities.
Major General Al-Huneiti affirmed the commitment of the Jordanian Armed Forces to strengthen cooperation relations with the Polish Armed Forces to achieve the highest levels of coordination and integration.
For his part, the Polish minister expressed his appreciation for the pivotal role played by the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II in fostering security and stability in the region, praising the level of professionalism and competence demonstrated by the Jordanian Armed Forces.
