Khaberni - In the name of Allah the Merciful, prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, and his family and companions collectively
A window of pain written by the teacher and educator and lawyer Musleh Atallah Al-Nawaiseh, he addresses everyone who can read this window
Peace from me to you, a greeting .. from every sincere rain, lightning, and thunder
As we, the family of the deceased, the late young ambitious lawyer Mohammad Ahmad Mohammad Al-Nawaiseh, who was 27 springs old, have been shocked by his departure, along with all those who loved Mohammad, his friends, and all the citizens of our beloved nation. We felt this through the participation in the condolence gatherings by kind people both from within the nation and beyond, whether by attending the condolence house in Al-Mazar Al-Janoubi or in Amman, or by phone or through all social media channels. Here, we can only extend our utmost respect and gratitude for joining us in our great misfortune, and may Allah reward you all well and not show you misfortune by losing a loved one.
However, esteemed gentlemen, please allow me to point out here that death is a fact and offering condolences is obligatory.
The late lawyer Mohammad Al-Nawaiseh, in addition to being a son of a respected family and tribe, was also a member of the Jordanian Bar Association and was a successful, clean, ethical lawyer committed to all aspects of his union's professional conduct code. Mohammad was graced by divine favor as God chose him and favored him with a dignified death, a blessing that all people of religion and morals envy, and we believe he is with Allah thusly.
Yet, I would like to address our esteemed bar association through its council, which our late son Mohammad Al-Nawaiseh was a member of, not to beg from the council to offer condolences since offering condolences is ultimately a behavior...
Unfortunately, the association removed his name from the practicing lawyers' registry to "deceased" before Mohammad was even buried, after he passed away in Medina having performed Umrah rituals. No official death documents or inheritance documents were issued, nor was Mohammad a burden on the Jordanian Bar Association nor any official document presented about this, nor did any decision from the council issue, especially since the procedures of the association are supposed to be under the jurisdiction of institutional work. Thus, the association committed a violation against the union's customs and the feelings of the deceased's family with this regrettable action, and despite this procedure and its impropriety, it became definitively aware of lawyer Mohammad Al-Nawaiseh's death. Here, I move to the other side to address the council of the Jordanian Bar Association to add to what the esteemed brother and respectable professor Rateb Al-Nawaiseh has mentioned about this aspect, and of the intended failure which went beyond the bounds of empathy and did not consider the feelings of loss or the right of fellowship as the condolence house expanded to include all honorable Jordanians, individuals and groups, but our union's seat remained empty in the midst of the attendance, unfortunately, although the condolence period extended over three days, two days in Karak and one in Amman, and I believe this was a sufficient duration for the union and its council and its president to offer condolences.
Lawyer Mohammad, may Allah have mercy on him, was an ambitious, professional young man who contributed with his voice and the voices of his tribal fellow lawyers from the general body of the Bar Association in electoral results that brought you as a council supposed to consider, in addition to the affairs of the profession, the social customs which include offering condolences upon the death of a lawyer or any of his relatives, and impartially towards all members of the union, not selectively.
We are sons of a respected tribe; we have made our mark in this nation that we love and have offered and will continue to offer for it. We do not treat this nation as if it were a five-star hotel; we were and still are genuine and affiliated tribally and ethically to our nation—a nation of skies, water, and land, not a nation of pretense, show, and selectivity even in offering condolences. The excuse that the union was busy with the exam (Bar Association exam) as stated by the union member (Eiad Al-Bataineh) should not be disregarded by a respected tribe nor should it be taken lightly through this answer, unfortunately from a respected tribe, nor should such an answer come from one of the union members defending a failure to perform an expected duty either directly from the president or any of the council members or any of them in any way of offering condolences, and this is something out of the norm and tradition in our nation that we love and in our society that we also love. If you were unable to offer the duty, you should not offer an unacceptable excuse as grading exam papers does not dictate expiry and any of the eleven council members can perform the duty and thus, lawyer Al-Bataineh with this response, it would have been better if he had remained silent, unfortunately, what's mentioned above, and in the name of my tribe and my kin, I repeat we do not beg for sympathy or participation and this speech since our son was a member of the respected general body that did not fail in performing the duty of condolence throughout the kingdom for their deceased colleague but the negligence was limited to our union's council.... and here I wonder if unfortunately, one of the council members' children had passed, would his name be removed from the registry of practicing lawyers before being buried, although I do not wish loss and pain on any council members or anyone at all
I address you as an elected council that has earned the trust of the general body and not as ordinary individuals because we have no (absolute necessity) on you as Jordanians say, I address you again as an elected council, is there not among you a wise man carrying the banner of consolation for the parents of the deceased in any form of condolence especially since the deceased was born after eighteen years of his parents' marriage and was an only child to his parents, or did you consider that removing his name from the registry of practicing lawyers to "deceased" was the condolence itself..... what a loss.. and regrettable
Therefore, I address our council, me and all Jordanians with clean sentiments and sound opinions, is this fitting or permissible in our society and in our institutions
I hope that the commenters do not denigrate.,,,
