American official We did not expect the magnitude of the Iranian response to Washingtons attacks

Khaberni - A high-ranking official in the U.S. Department of State told "ABC" that Washington did not expect the Iranian response to the attacks launched by the United States and Israel to be of such a large scale.

The official told the news channel, "I don't think anyone could have predicted this immense amount of Iranian responses," referring to the series of attacks carried out by Tehran in response to the American and Israeli operations.

The department representative added that the United States had never faced retaliatory actions from Iran to this extent and breadth, as has occurred during the current escalation of the conflict, reflecting a significant development in Iranian capabilities and responses compared to earlier stages.

In a separate context, Europe rang the alarm bells, with the British "Daily Telegraph" considering Iran's destruction of an American E-3 Sentry (AWACS) early warning and air control aircraft a serious strategic blow to the United States.
