ElSisi No one can stop the war in the region except Trump

Khaberni - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi urged U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday to stop the war in the region, stressing that no one else can do it.

El-Sisi said, "No one can stop this war in our Gulf region except Trump".

The Iran war erupted on February 28, 2026, following extensive air strikes by the United States and Israel that targeted vital and military facilities and command centers in Tehran and several other cities. This led to the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on the first day, along with a number of senior officials and leaders, including the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani, and prominent leaders in the Revolutionary Guard.

In response, Iran retaliated with an operation by launching hundreds of missiles and drones towards Israel and countries in the region, along with closing the Strait of Hormuz, causing a spike in energy prices.

The war extended to Lebanon on March 2, after Hezbollah fired rockets at Israel following the assassination of Ali Khamenei. Israel responded with extensive airstrikes and a ground incursion into the south.
