Carrying his weapon AlQassam publishes new footage of the late spokesman Abu Ubaida

Khaberni - Social media users widely shared a new video of the former spokesman of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), the late Hudhaifa al-Kahlout "Abu Ubaida", appearing "unmasked" in various locations.

The footage, published by the Al-Qassam Brigades on Saturday, shows various clips of the former spokesman, the late Abu Ubaida, at several social and military occasions.

The clip included words of thanks presented by the martyr Abu Ubaida Hudhaifa al-Kahlout to those around him, as he wore sportswear, and ended with him carrying a weapon on his shoulder, walking beside the field commander Fadi Aslim.
The rare footage came within a broader segment titled "Moons of the Flood," which included scenes from the biography of Fadi Aslim, the leader of the military media department in Gaza, who was martyred in May 2024 during the Israeli extermination war on the sector.

This is the second time that a video clip of Hudhaifa al-Kahlout "Abu Ubaida" has been broadcast without a mask, which he was known for and accompanied him during his long years working as a military spokesman for Al-Qassam, as the brigades published about 20 days ago another clip in which "Abu Ubaida" appeared in sound and image during his participation in an honoring ceremony for "Al-Quds Battalion" fighters in the Al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza Strip.

The clip was shared on Facebook by thousands of followers in the first hours of its release, accompanied by prayers and expressions of praise and appreciation.

The Palestinian preacher Mahmoud Al-Hasanat shared the clip on the X platform accompanied by the phrase "and this is the severity of the loss"; meanwhile, Ahmed Al-Hawfi commented saying "The video sheds light on these unknown heroes who documented the battles from the heart of the field and delivered them to us, for us to take pride in them and their achievements."
On December 29, 2025, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced the martyrdom of Abu Ubaida during the extermination war that Israel waged on the Gaza Strip following the Al-Aqsa Flood.
