Khaberni - The Prisoner's Club announced an increase in the number of martyrs of the prisoner movement since the start of the extermination war to 89 martyrs whose identities are known, including 52 detainees from the Gaza Strip, following the martyrdom of prisoner Marwan Harzallah from Nablus, yesterday.
The club explained in a statement on Sunday that these martyrs escalated due to crimes of torture, starvation, medical neglect, and systematic sexual assaults, alongside a series of violations, including deprivation, looting, maltreatment, humiliation, and detention in inhumane conditions that affect human dignity.
It confirmed that many of the detainees from Gaza who were martyred are still under the crime of enforced disappearance, along with dozens of others who were executed on the spot.
It pointed out that photos of the bodies and the remains of the prisoners, which were handed over after the ceasefire, constituted evidence of systematic extrajudicial executions, emphasizing that this phase is considered the bloodiest in the history of the Palestinian prisoner movement.
It mentioned that the number of martyrs of the prisoner movement since 1967 (whose identities are known) has risen to 326 martyrs, and that the number of martyrs from the prisoners whose bodies are detained and whose identities are known has risen to 97 martyrs, including 86 martyrs since the beginning of the extermination war.
