Khaberni - Open AI has indefinitely postponed its plans to launch a chatbot focusing on adult sexual content, as part of its focus on its core products, according to a report from the Financial Times on Thursday citing informed sources.
The report noted that employees and investors raised concerns about the impact of AI-delivered sexual content on society, according to "Reuters".
Open AI also unexpectedly cancelled "Sura", which is an artificial intelligence model for converting texts into video clips.
The company is now looking to focus on other research areas and integrating more of its capabilities into one comprehensive application.
