Khaberni - Joint teams in the Giza Brigade conducted an expansive inspection and supervisory campaign on Thursday that included various commercial establishments; to enhance supply control and ensure that merchants comply with the government-mandated price listings, and prevent any attempts at hoarding or price gouging.
The Giza municipality stated in a Thursday announcement that the campaign was conducted in coordination and cooperation with the municipality, the brigade's governorship, and the Public Security Directorate. It targeted verifying public safety conditions in facilities to ensure the protection of citizens and workers, in addition to monitoring health, environmental standards, and the cleanliness of public facilities.
The field tour resulted in detecting multiple operational and supply violations, with final warnings issued to non-compliant establishments, and violators were referred to the governorship for the necessary legal and administrative actions, particularly those related to non-compliance with official price limits.
The supervising committee on the campaign confirmed the continuity of these supervisory rounds, emphasizing that there will be no leniency with any violation that affects the citizens' provisions or safety, calling everyone to fully cooperate to achieve the public interest and uphold the law.
