Security Renews Warning About the Depression and Urges Caution

Khaberni - The Public Security Directorate has renewed its warnings to the citizens regarding the effects of the prevailing low-pressure system, emphasizing the necessity of staying away from valleys, watercourses, and low-lying areas in light of the continued risk of flash floods, especially in the southern regions of the kingdom.

The Directorate called for not risking crossing roads submerged in water, no matter how low the water level might seem, due to the real danger this poses, and emphasized the importance of immediately moving to higher and safer places in case of water surges.

It also warned against approaching water accumulations and dams during the flow of torrents, due to potential dangers, and stressed the importance of monitoring children and not allowing them near watercourses or water pools.

The Directorate urged drivers to exercise the utmost caution while driving and to follow the guidelines issued by the relevant authorities promptly to ensure their safety and the safety of others.

The Public Security Directorate confirmed its full readiness to handle various reports and emergency cases, urging citizens to contact the emergency number (911) when needed.
