The weather will be cold, cloudy, and rainy in most regions, with rain being occasionally heavy accompanied by thunder and hail, leading to flood formation and increased water levels in valleys and low areas in many regions, including Aqaba and the Dead Sea. There is a possibility of light snow showers on the high peaks of the southern mountains (Al Sharah) for a short period in the early morning hours, and the winds will be westerly, active in speed with strong gusts at times that may exceed (60 km/hour), and during the late night hours, the intensity of precipitation decreases.
The Meteorological Department warns in its report of the risk of floods and rising water levels in valleys and low areas in many regions including the city of Aqaba and the Dead Sea, and the risk of thunderstorms and hail, as well as the risk of wind speed and strong accompanying gusts, and the reduced horizontal visibility due to fog and low clouds touching the ground, especially in mountainous highlands, and from slipping on roads that witness rain, advising to avoid going to or near the sea in the Gulf of Aqaba.
Temperatures will increase slightly tomorrow, Friday, and the weather will be cold and partly cloudy to cloudy in most regions, and by the will of God, rain will fall from time to time in the western parts of the kingdom and limited parts of the northeastern regions, and the winds will be westerly, active in speed with sometimes strong gusts that may exceed (60 km/hour), and in the evening the precipitation weakens gradually and the wind speed decreases.
On Saturday, a slight further rise in temperatures will occur, and the weather on Saturday and Sunday will be relatively cold in most regions, and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at medium and high altitudes, and the winds will be moderate southwesterly.
