Khaberni - Actor Ahmed Helmy is preparing to return to the cinema with two new projects, after finishing the film «Weakest of Creation» and starting preparations for the film «Tale».
Actor Ahmed Helmy is preparing to end his absence from the cinema screen, which lasted about 4 years since his film «Another One» in 2022, through preparations for two new cinematic works this year.
Helmy recently finished filming the movie «Weakest of Creation», after which he immediately began preparations for his new movie «Tale», the details of which were revealed by actor Majed El Masry, noting that the work includes a selection of stars including Rahma Ahmed and Mohamed Abdel Azim, alongside a number of artists currently being contracted.
The film is written by Ahmed Abdel Rahman, directed by Mazen Ashraf, and filming is expected to start soon.
In a related context, the film «Weakest of Creation» presents a different experience that combines black comedy, drama, and suspense, and witnesses the first collaboration between Helmy and actress Hend Sabry, under the direction of director Omar Hello.
The events of the film revolve around an animal world worker in the Giza Zoo, who faces complex life pressures on both personal and professional levels before finding himself in front of a difficult moral test that raises questions about values and human choices.
On another front, Ahmed Helmy participated in the 2026 Ramadan season through a radio series titled «First Year Marriage», featuring Aisha Ben Ahmed, Emad Rashad, Arifa Abdel Rasoul, and Laila Ezz el Arab, showcasing comedic situations from early married life.
Helmy is keen on maintaining a nearly annual presence on the radio, presenting past works such as «Fabrication» and «Groom Wanted», in addition to his cinematic participations through which he seeks to strongly return to the audience.
