Khaberni - Several directorates in the Ministry of Education have made their decision regarding Thursday's attendance, in light of the expected weather conditions.
The Ministry of Education had decided to continue the principle of delegating the directors of education in all provinces of the kingdom to make appropriate decisions regarding school attendance during the weather conditions, in coordination with the administrative governors.
The decisions taken so far will be continuously updated as information is received at the Khaberni site:
Southern Badia Directorate
Due to the prevailing weather conditions and the blessings of rain, His Excellency the Director of Education for the Southern Badia Directorate, Dr. Imad Al-Safasfeh, in coordination with His Excellency the Governor of Ma'an and the relevant authorities
has decided to suspend attendance for tomorrow, Thursday, March 26, 2026, in all schools of the Southern Badia Directorate.
Ma'an
The Director of Education for the Ma'an region, Dr. Safaa Al-Mahameed, in coordination with His Excellency the Governor of Ma'an, Mr. Khaled Al-Hajjaj, has decided to suspend attendance in all schools and kindergartens of the Directorate of Education for the Ma'an region, both public and private, tomorrow, Thursday, March 26, 2026.
This is due to the prevailing weather conditions, and out of concern for the safety of students and colleagues in the educational field.
Karak
His Excellency the Director of Education for the Karak region, Mr. Nidal Al-Fitainat, in coordination with His Excellency the Governor of Karak, Dr. Qabalan Al-Sharif, has decided to suspend attendance in all schools of the Directorate of Education for the Karak region, both public and private, tomorrow, Thursday, March 26, 2026.
This is due to the prevailing weather conditions in the province, and out of concern for the safety of the students.
