Khaberni - Radar images from the Meteorological Department indicate that the rainfall is gradually extending to the central areas, especially Madaba Governorate, the central Jordan Valley, and the Dead Sea.
The Meteorological Department expects that the rainfall could be heavy at times, increasing the risk of flash floods and rising water levels in valleys and low-lying areas, urging citizens to stay away from watercourses and flash floods, and to take utmost caution and care for public safety.
The department noted that the city of Aqaba and its gulf are experiencing thunderstorms accompanied by downward gusty winds, occasionally strong gusts, high sea waves, and disturbed sea conditions.
The Meteorological Department, according to its official website, urges citizens and visitors of the Aqaba Gulf, especially those using boats, to take utmost caution and care, and to avoid risking swimming or sailing in these weather conditions to ensure public safety.
