Khaberni - The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy in Kuwait announced that a number of electrical power transmission lines have been knocked out of service, confirming that 7 overhead transmission lines were disrupted due to falling debris.
The ministry clarified that the incident resulted in a partial power outage in some areas, while technical teams are working to restore service as quickly as possible.
The ministry added that the debris was a result of aerial defense activities, noting that emergency teams have started assessing the damage in preparation for coordinating with security authorities to repair the affected lines.
The relevant authorities confirmed the continuous work around the clock to ensure the stability of the electrical network and the restoration of electricity to the affected areas.
