Hezbollah Extends Truce on Targeting US Interests in Iraq

Khaberni - The security official in the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades, Abu Mujahid Al-Assaf, declared in a statement the continuation of targeting U.S. interests in Iraq, refusing to disarm.
The statement affirmed that the war with the "American enemy" will not end except under the conditions of the resistance, including the inviolability of the mujahideen in Iraq, promising to continue responding to its "crimes" within public and private institutions.

It emphasized that "recent attacks against American forces are not the last response but the beginning of a new phase, with a denial of working for any other party and considering the operations of the resistance a legitimate and national commitment."

The statement attacked "collaborators" within the Iraqi intelligence apparatus and those cooperating with the Americans and Emiratis, warning against exploiting the blood of fighters or threatening elements of the Popular Mobilization Forces, and affirmed that "the weapon of the resistance is the weapon of the people and the honor of the nation, and will not allow opponents to doubt it or demand its disarmament."
The Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades, in the statement issued on Sunday/Monday night, extended the previously announced deadline for halting the targeting of the American embassy in Baghdad, adding five more days to the original deadline.

The statement comes after a series of attacks targeting the embassy over the past two days, which included rocket launches and the use of drones.

Meanwhile, the Iraqi government condemned these attacks, describing the targeting of diplomatic missions as a "terrorist act" that affects the country's sovereignty and threatens its interests.
