Khaberni - Israel has granted its army permission to assassinate any high-ranking Iranian official as the opportunity arises, without the need for prior approval from the political level, as announced by Defense Minister Yisrael Katz on Wednesday.
Katz stated that he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have authorized the army to "eliminate any high-ranking Iranian official who has been identified by the operational and intelligence community, without the need for additional approval." He added, "We will continue to thwart (their plans) and pursue them all."
Since the beginning of its attack with the United States on Iran on February 28, Israel has announced the killing of several Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani, commander of the Basij forces of the Revolutionary Guard Gholam Reza Soleimani, and Iranian Minister of Intelligence Ismail Khatib.
