Jordan Tourism Income Decreases by 32 at the Start of 2026

Khaberni - The tourism income decreased during the first two months of 2026 by 3.2% to reach 1.2 billion dollars, compared with an increase of 16.3% to reach  1.3 billion dollars during the same period last year. This is due to a decrease in the number of tourists by 3.6%. The data shows an increase in tourism income during the first two months of 2026 from European nationalities (49.8%), American (13.4%), and Asian (9.6%), while the data indicates a decrease in tourism income from Jordanian expatriates by (9.6%), Arabs (6.6%), and other nationalities (8.7%).

The data also shows a decrease in spending on tourism abroad during the first two months of 2026 by 3.1%, reaching 332.2 million dollars.
